"For the young at heart ... "

When I grow up I want to be ...

a KID again

(ain't THAT funny?!?)

Amazing that we spend our lives

Longing to be "adult"

and

"wise" ...

At "six" we long to be "sixteen"

Then ... twenty-one

(know what I mean?)

To ... 'get that license and drive dad's car'

Or legally enter

That dive of a bar.

I wanted to go on my "1st Date"

Then marry Prince Charming

(Can you relate?)

And now according to the "growth chart"

I'm all "growED up"

(ie:  An Old Fart!)

It seemed like it'd be cool

"back then"

Now I'm ready to be

A KID again!
